You’re invited

Do more of what makes you happy.

Little and often. Watch it add up.

I’ve been building Stryver, an app to help you do just that. It’s nearly ready, and I’d love you to be one of the first to try it, and help make it even better before it opens to everyone.

Lee, founder of Stryver

What it’s for

What would you love to do more of?

Time with the people you love. Getting outdoors and getting active. A good book, an early night, catching up with friends. The good stuff is never urgent, so it quietly slips.

  • Pick a few things you enjoy. Fun counts as much as anything worthy.

  • Stryver keeps them front of mind, so you remember to do them.

  • See how often you’re really doing them, and over time, how your weeks feel.

  • On your own, or with family and friends. Miss a day and nothing breaks.

61 good things done in 3 months.

And 18 more: lie-ins, cinema trips and games nights.

85 km walked. That’s Brighton to London, roughly.

An example recap, with made-up numbers.

Why it matters

A little help could make a big difference

I use Stryver almost every day myself, but there’s only so much one person can spot. I’d love to know what it’s like in real life: what feels natural, what’s confusing, what’s missing, and whether it has you doing more of what you enjoy.

You don’t need to know anything about apps or testing. Honest first impressions are the most useful thing of all.

What you tell me will shape Stryver before it opens to everyone.

Testing

What’s involved?

Nothing complicated. Use Stryver as part of normal life, and tell me what you think.

  • Make it your own

Pick a few things you’d love to do more of, and log them when they happen. There’s no need to use it every day.

  • Tell me what you think

A couple of short surveys. And whenever something delights, confuses or annoys you, tap Send feedback in the app, or reply to my emails.

  • Stryver Plus, free

Switched on for you while you test, so you can try everything.

  • A couple of weeks to start

Then carry on if you like it. You can stop testing whenever you like.

It’s an early version, so expect a few rough edges. That’s exactly what your feedback is for.

Ready to give it a go?

I’m letting people in a few at a time. In the coming days, I’ll email you a link to get Stryver: a download on Android, or Apple’s TestFlight app on iPhone.

Your privacy

  • What you log stays yours. Nobody at Stryver looks at what you log, or when, without your permission. Your Stryves are private unless you share one.
  • We count how much each tester uses Stryver: totals with your name on them, like how many logs and Stryves. No dates, and nothing you logged. You can turn this off in the app.
  • We also look at anonymous patterns across everyone, like what time of day people log.
  • Screen replays are your choice, and off unless you tick the box. All text and photos are blanked out.
