Cookies and website storage

Last updated 15 October 2026

The short version: the Stryver website doesn’t use cookies to track you, and there’s no cookie banner because there’s nothing to agree to.

This notice is about our website. Our privacy notice covers the Stryver app.

Website statistics, without cookies

We count visits so we know which pages help people, using our analytics provider (EU servers) in cookieless mode:

  • Nothing is stored on your device for statistics: no cookies, no local storage, no device identifiers. Anything it needs during your visit is held in the page’s memory and disappears when you leave.
  • We record page views and a few named actions (such as starting or completing the waitlist form). We don’t record what you type, and we don’t record or replay your visit.
  • Statistics aren’t linked to you, and we don’t build profiles of visitors.
  • To count visitors without cookies, our analytics provider works out an anonymous code on its servers from details of your connection, combined with a value that changes every day.

Opting out

If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, website statistics don’t load at all. Nothing else changes about the site.

What the website does store

WhatWhereWhyHow long
stryver.themeLocal storage (your browser)Only if you choose Light or Dark with the theme switch: it remembers your choice. Nothing is saved if you leave it on Auto.Until you change it or clear your browser data
stryver.campaignSession storage (your browser)If you arrive from a link with campaign details (such as utm_source), we remember them during your visit so a waitlist sign-up can record where it came from.Until you close the tab

That’s all. The site works fully without either, and neither is used for statistics or advertising.

Other providers involved

  • Our database provider stores waitlist sign-ups when you submit the form. Nothing is sent until you do. See our waitlist privacy notice.
  • Our analytics provider gives us the cookieless statistics described above.
  • Our website hosting provider keeps standard server logs to run and protect the site.
  • Fonts and images are served from our own website, so loading a page doesn’t contact font or image services.

We don’t use advertising cookies, social media pixels or tracking from ad networks.

Changes

If we ever add anything that stores information on your device for statistics or advertising, we’ll ask you first and update this page.
