Waitlist privacy notice
This notice is for people who join the Stryver waitlist on our website. Our full privacy notice covers the Stryver app.
Who we are
Stryver is run by Stryver Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17522956). Our registered office is 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ. We’re the controller of your information. We’re registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), registration number ZC276054. Contact us using our contact form.
What we keep
- Your email address.
- The page you signed up on, and the ready-made Stryve, if you joined from one.
- Whether you ticked the box to get the occasional idea by email.
- Campaign details from the link you arrived through, if there were any (such as
utm_sourceor an ad click code), and the name of the website that sent you. - When you signed up.
Why we keep it
- To tell you when Stryver launches, which is what you asked for when you joined.
- To send the occasional idea for small changes, only if you ticked the box. This is optional, and joining the waitlist doesn’t depend on it.
- To understand which pages and campaigns bring people to Stryver, using the page and campaign details, so we spend less on what doesn’t work.
Why we can do this: to do what you asked us to (telling you about the launch); your consent (occasional ideas); and our legitimate interest in understanding how people find us.
We don’t sell your email address or share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Where it’s kept
In our database, hosted in the UK (London). Our emails are sent by an email delivery provider in the US, protected by the UK’s approved safeguards. If you’d like to know which companies these are, ask us using our contact form.
How long we keep it
Until 12 months after Stryver launches, or until you unsubscribe, whichever comes first. After that it’s deleted. If you create a Stryver account, your account is covered by the main privacy notice instead.
Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe at any time with the link in any email, or by using our contact form.
- See, correct or delete what we hold about you, or object to how we use it: use our contact form. It’s free, and we reply within a month.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
